Man Is Arrested After Coming To Jail While Drunk
Authorities arrested a fifty-three year old Lawrenceburg man Wednesday after he arrived at the jail to accept service on a warrant, while intoxicated.
The incident occurred shortly after midnight at the Lawrence County Detention Center on West Gaines Street.
Reports show that Joseph Hughes Coleman was jailed on charges of public intoxication. He reportedly admitted he had been drinking earlier before walking from his Groh Street home to the jail.
